Export your chat in under a minute
Pick your phone below and follow four quick steps.
- 01Open the chatTap the contact or group name at the top.
- 02Tap Export ChatScroll down to the bottom of the info screen.
- 03Choose Without MediaSmaller file, and it holds up to 40,000 messages.
- 04Save the fileUse Save to Files, AirDrop or Mail, then upload it.
- 01Open the chatTap the three dots (⋮) at the top right.
- 02Tap MoreIt sits near the bottom of the menu.
- 03Tap Export chatThen choose Without media.
- 04Save the fileSend it to Drive, Mail or Files, then upload it.
iMessage
Mac- 01Open MessagesUse the Messages app on your Mac and pick the conversation.
- 02Load the historyScroll up to load the messages you want.
- 03Copy the textPress Cmd + A, then Cmd + C.
- 04Save as .txtPaste into TextEdit in plain text mode and save.
Choose “Without Media”: photos and voice notes are never exported or sent to us.
